Known for its famous fruit and wine industries, Palisade also has a quaint downtown area, fine schools, and also Victorian neighborhoods and is a great location for visiting or making a permanent home. Just minutes away from all the amenities of Grand Junction, the largest city on the Western Slope, Palisade still maintains that small town feeling. Beautiful views in every direction within a short distance to Grand Mesa and all the recreation which that area provides. Palisade is a town with plenty of activities such as the annual Peach Blossom Art Show in April, the Palisade Bike Festival in April, the Palisade Peach Festival in August and the Colorado Mountain Wine Fest in September.
