Western Colorado Skiing
Living in Western Colorado you become accustomed to living at a lower elevation, blessed with milder climate and more temperate weather when compared with the central Colorado mountains. It is however an advantage to be within a few hours of some of the most striking and beautiful mountain country in the United States. If you enjoy winter skiing and snowboarding you can enjoy a life in most Western Colorado communities and still spend plenty of time visiting some of the premier ski areas in the country. It is a distinct advantage to plan day and weekend trips when the skiing or boarding is the best or to stay home when the weather or road conditions make travel difficult.
